With the sound of their latest album, Human Response, still ringing round the Arches in Glasgow, the mighty Slam return to Pressure to unleash their live show on an unsuspecting crowd. It’s Pressure’s ninth birthday, and Stuart McMillan and Orde Meikle are celebrating in style. They unveiled the new live set at T In The Park, but it’s come a long way from there and the crowd are lapping it up. And it’s not only Slam who are ending the year on a high. Their label Soma is just about to drop its 2007 compilation, complete with tracks from Vector Lovers, The Black Dog, Let’s Go Outside, Silicone Soul, My Robot Friend and more.
