Prodigy mainman Leeroy Thornhill gets busy with his label Electric Tastebuds over the next few weeks, dropping a pair of collaborations that have been massive with everyone from Plump DJs to Hyper. Due out first, right about now, is Everything U Need, a collaboration with Marten Hoerger of Boogie Army to form Smash HiFi. Martin and Leeroy have remixed for each other in the past – Leeroy rejigged Boogie Army’s Gangster, and in return the Boogie Army were let lose on Leeroy’s Hands Up. Both of them have been spinning the track, and it’s getting a great response. Fancy a taster? Then take a look at the video below.
Then at the end of November, there’s 10 Pence Short by Jagged Slap. This time, Leeroy’s joined forces this time with Joe Morena who has remixed for the likes of Alabama 3, Human League and Sunscreem. They’ve created an electro-breaks sound that won over the Wrongstar Society so much they jumped on board for remix duties.
